ABC News dazzled by North Korean cheerleaders’ matching outfits, synchronized chants

In a true “hold my beer” moment, ABC News has decided it can’t let CNN win the day with its hot take that “Kim Jong Un’s sister is stealing the show at the Winter Olympics.” Nah, it’s North Korea’s 230-member cheerleading squad that is “stealing the spotlight.”

North Korea’s 200-plus cheerleaders steal spotlight at 2018 Winter Olympics with matching outfits, synchronized chants.

No they are not.

As Twitchy reported, some lefties like The New Republic’s Jeet Heer seem to think that North Korea is winning big-time with its Olympic “charm offensive,” but so far we’ve only seen media outlets like CNN and ABC News fall for it.

Hey ABC News … you want to see large numbers of North Koreans in matching outfits doing synchronized moves? Here you go:

Why are the networks so taken in by this garbage?

Not to be outdone by @CNN”s puff piece on Kim Jong-un”s sister, ABC does its own commie propaganda bit.

“Look how wonderfully these slave dancers perform for us under threat of execution!”

— Razor (@hale_razor) February 11, 2018

Synchronized chants! Wherever did they find the time?! It’s almost as if they received military style instruction from some kind of government official!

Genocidal dictatorships can earn fawning coverage from American journalists and all it takes is conscripted cheerleaders

Alt headline: North Korea’s 200-plus cheerleaders steal spotlight at 2018 Winter Olympics knowing they’ll be jailed or put to death if they mess up and embarrass Dear Leader.

— Jay Caruso (@JayCaruso) February 11, 2018

We should expect nothing less from a country that puts a significant portion of its population into work camps when it isn’t torturing them.

— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) February 11, 2018

I mean, I don’t think it’s like they are forced to do that by the threat of death and the deaths of their families or anything…

— Artist_Angie: Sensei of Sarcasm (@Artist_Angie) February 11, 2018

And families held hostage.

This media narrative is gross.

How is every major outlet gleefully pushing North Korean propaganda? This is bizarre. Gee. I wonder why these people are so coordinated? I’m sure it’s all voluntary.

Good grief, ABC also….

Hey Yankee Boy, totalitarianism ain’t all that bad

— TheLastRefuge (@TheLastRefuge2) February 10, 2018

Are you fucking kidding?

— Dan (@danieltobin) February 11, 2018

ABC doing propaganda work for North Korea, who holds those women’s families hostage at home. Well done ABC, well done.

— Caleb Jordan Schulz (@Based_Jedi) February 11, 2018

You do realize that these are propaganda tools and you fawning all over them just make them EFFECTIVE propaganda tools. (smh)

— Able Archer (@InfoSomniac2) February 11, 2018

This is what it actually looks like when democracy dies in the darkness of useful idiocy – cheerleaders “celebrating” their country for propagandistic purposes at the point of a government gun. If they don’t act like this they will end up in the gulag. #NorthKorea #OlympicGames

— Benjamin Weingarten (@bhweingarten) February 11, 2018

Our media’s fascination with this is absolutely bizarre.

— Pylnyy Mashina (@dustopian) February 11, 2018

MSM has officially gone batshit crazy.

Last week, it was considered controversial by the current national culture that the suggestion by the United States President that a military parade, for the purposes of morale and honor, might be in order:

Wait, they’re stealing the spotlight because they have cheerleaders? In matching outfits? Doing synchronized chants?

Boy, if they manage to make one of those pyramid thingies using some of the cheerleaders, capitalism is over.

God, you’re idiots.
