‘The worst’! At G7 presser in Canada, Trump unloads on CNN [video]

President Trump met with other G7 leaders at a summit in Canada, and before leaving he took some questions from reporters. One of the journos on hand was from CNN, and it went from there:

President @realDonaldTrump: “Who are you with out of curiosity?”

Reporter: “@CNN.”@POTUS: “I figured – Fake News CNN. The worst.” pic.twitter.com/8T5txRkU4J

Trump asks a reporter who they’re with, then says of course it’s “fake news CNN.”

“I could tell by the question,” he says.

“Fake news CNN, the worst,” Trump says on foreign soil, in Quebec, after complaining about a reporter’s question about his poor relationship with G7 leaders.

“You can tell that to your fake friends at CNN,” Trump said, boasting that his relationship with G7 leaders is a “10.”

CNN producer asks Trump about his relationship with the other G-7 leaders. Trump says his relationships with them are “a 10.” Adds: “The relationship that I’ve had is great. You can tell that to your fake friends at CNN.”

In fairness to CNN, however, they weren’t the focus of all of Trump’s media criticism. Much of the U.S. press in general took some heat:

Trump says much of the US press is dishonest and says he came up with the term “fake news.” (sorry @CraigSilverman) pic.twitter.com/bNCNgadXxR

There is definitely no love lost between Trump and CNN, not to mention others in the mainstream media.
