Something non-political (but nightmarish) for Friday night: Watch this puffer fish eat a scorpion

It’s Friday night, so let’s end it with something non-political, shall we? Check out this video of a puffer fish eating some freaky stuff, including a scorpion and a snake:

Whoa. And, no, we didn’t know this is what a puffer fish’s mouth looks like:

They make good pets, too!

I’ve seen ppl comment about getting these as pets. They do make good pets.

But…

They can’t be kept in a tank w other fish. They prefer to be alone.

Also, they need hard food, like clams or crabs, bc their teeth never stop growing and need to file them down on something hard.

Now, here’s how it was able to survive the scorpion sting:

I’ve had a few people ask how the puffer fish survives being stung by the scorpion.

Two reasons.

One, not all scorpions are venomous and this one probably wasn’t.

Two, puffer fish don’t have scales like normal fish. They have bony plates with spikes on them.
